In this hit play, deeply immersed in Croatian reality, we follow the daily life of a successful local marketing agency, brought to life through brilliant acting performances.
Draško Zidar masterfully plays Orkan, the agency director, an animal lover, especially fond of lamb on a spit. His most devoted fan, his left and right hand, and often the brain behind the operations, Dolly, is played by one of Croatia’s top comedians, Ana Begić Tahiri. Nina, the moral compass of her generation, a fighter for human rights and political correctness, is portrayed by young acting talent Nikolina Prkačin. A familiar face from television, Zoran Pribičević, plays Pero Žlahtina, an actor hired by the agency, pleasing to the eye but not to the ear, who is in love with himself and the zeros in his bank account.
It is Pero’s clumsy public statement on a sensitive women’s issue that will put both his career and the agency in jeopardy.
As we watch clients cancel one job after another, jeopardising the agency’s future and Pero’s career, we’ll also discover who among our heroes has been struck by Cupid’s arrow.
How will the tangled mess unravel, and will there be a happy ending? You’ll find out through the outstanding performances of our cast in the play “Nothing Without a Commercial.”
